On Renergy Blockchain, jailing is a temporary restriction applied to validators that fail to meet network requirements or violate protocol rules.

When a validator is jailed:

  • ⛔ Block production is halted

  • 💸 No staking rewards are earned

  • 👥 Delegators stop receiving rewards from that validator

The validator is removed from the active set until the issue is resolved.
